HR Systems Consultant

The HR Systems Consultant will provide HRIS subject matter expertise in the design, configuration, implementation and maintenance of automated solutions for routine to complex projects. This person will partner closely with the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) to understand their business processes and provide guidance on technology applicability to meet their business needs. Additional responsibilities will include evaluating technology solutions, releases and enhancements to understand impacts on and potential value to current processes; partnering with technology vendors to provide product feedback and providing guidance to team members on integration design, build and testing. This position will have a direct effect on the availability, functionality and reliability of HR systems and integrations with other business systems.
What will you do?
Partner with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to understand challenges and opportunities within their business processes and provide HRIS subject matter expertise and guidance on technology applicability. Continually evaluate technology solutions, releases and enhancements to understand potential value and impacts on current processes. Partner with technology vendors to provide product feedback and participate in user groups.
Design, configure, and implement medium to complex new business solutions in Workday, Kronos, and other Talent Management solutions and maintain existing database configuration, which will include design, configuration and implementation of annual projects. Lead the analysis, coordination and testing of system releases.
Provide prompt and reliable support using strong customer service skills and error resolution to escalated system issues and or inquiries. Provide integration support for routine to complex integrations between multiple HR systems with end to end global focus. Work with IT to troubleshoot integration issues with complex integrations. Provide guidance to team members using multiple HRIS systems on low to medium complexity integration design, build, and testing.
Develop and maintain user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, which will include occasional maintenance and delivery of technical training material. Participate in and/or lead special projects as assigned.
Lead the change control process from start to finish and ensure implications within the system, to other systems, integrations and new releases are considered. Work with appropriate individuals from HR, IT and the business to ensure smooth transition to end users.
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's Degree required.
Business or Management Information Systems discipline preferred.
7+ years of experience in managing and configuring complex HRIS software systems, including compensation, payroll, benefits and/or time and attendance systems required.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions and related HRIS integrations required.
Demonstrated knowledge and success in roles assisting with improvement of HR organizations required.
3+ years of Workday Core, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and Integrations configurations experience required.
Must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment (PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong Excel and Word knowledge required.
HRIS systems required.
5+ years of Workday Core, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, and Integrations configurations experience preferred.
Cornerstone OnDemand preferred.
Kronos Timekeeper 7+ preferred.
Experience with Applicant Tracking, Learning Management, or other Talent management systems preferred.
Visio flow charting preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
