Duties - Provide care and support for animals in a kennel environment - Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and other animal living areas - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff - Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel - Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed - Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health Experience - Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a kennel, veterinary clinic, or animal shelter - Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques - Familiarity with dog training principles and techniques is a plus - Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently - Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a professional and compassionate manner - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care If you have a passion for working with animals and providing exceptional care, we would love to hear from you.
